Description
- RTD sensors with thermowells are designed for processes where corrosion, pressure, abrasion or shear force may threaten the life of the element. Thermowells, machined from a solid bar stock or fabricated from a pipe, shield the RTD element from external aberrations. Fabricated thermowells offer a lower cost alternative and are used in applications where high pressure is not a consideration.
