Description
Resistance Temperature Detectors, or RTDs, are temperature sensors that have a resistor within that adjusts its resistance value in response to changes in temperature. The most popular RTD is Pt100. They have been used for many years to monitor the temperature in laboratory and industrial processes, and have earned a reputation for precision, repeatability, and stability.
One of the most precise temperature sensors is the pt100. Not only does it provide exceptional precision, but also delivers excellent stability and repeatability. The majority of pt100 adhere to DIN-IEC Class B. In addition, Pt100 is fairly resistant to electrical noise, making them suitable for temperature measurement in industrial settings, particularly close to motors, generators, and other high-voltage machinery.
